Alt rockers Veruca Salt reunite original line up - listen to two new songs

Chicago alt rockers Veruca Salt announced a new album called "Ghost Notes" and due out on July 10 via El Camino Records: it will be their fifth studio work, following 2006’s "IV".

"Ghost notes", moreover, marks the first album featuring the band's original line-up (Nina Gordon, Louise Post, Steve Lack, and Jim Shapiro) in nearly 20 years: he last full-length before Gordon’s departure was 1997’s "Eight Arms to Hold You". 

The new album was produced by Brad Wood, who already worked on Veruca Salt’s debut, "American Thighs", but also on records by Liz Phair, Sunny Day Real Estate and Ben Lee.

Veruca Salt already shared two new tracks from the upcoming album: the lead single "Laughing in the Sugar Bowl" and the opener, "The Gospel According To Saint Me". Listen to both tracks below:
