Taylor Swift's album '1989' won't be on Apple Music

Pop queen Taylor Swift remains true to her policy of not licensing her blockbuster album "1989" to any digital streaming service - that's to say it won't be on the new platform Apple Music when it will be launched, on June 30.

A spokesperson for Swift's label Big Machine Records, as reported by "Billboard", confirmed the artist's last album will not be available on the streaming platform by Apple.

Swift's other releases are currently available on subscription-based streaming services such as Tidal and Rdio; according to "BuzzFeed" her back catalogue will be available on Apple Music. Currently "1989" is only available for sale online.
