Roger Waters plans a world tour in 2016

Ex Pink Floyd bass player, Roger Waters, made his return to the stage at Newport Folk Fest earlier in August - and now he is reportedly planning further live performances in the near future. In an interview with Israeli newspaper "Haaretz", he indeed revealed that he’s planning to embark on a world tour in 2016.

When he ended his mammoth "Wall tour", Waters clearly expressed hesitation over the idea of taking part in another trek of a similar scale. However, as he continues work on his first solo album in 22 years, he might have had a change of heart. In the interview we read:

[Waters] in the process of writing an autobiography, played at the Newport Folk Festival last week, and plans to go on another world tour next year. He’s a busy and active man. Once in a while, he plays golf.

The artist also spoke of Pink Floyd and clealy ruled out the possibility of another reunion. He also admitted that he rarely listens to new music. The majority of the interview, however, focused on Waters’ criticism versus Israel.
