Ed Sheeran launches his own record label Gingerbread Man Records
Ed Sheeran has revealed details about his all-new record label Gingerbread Man Records.
First announced earlier this year, Gingerbread Man Records is a subsidiary of Warner Music Ltd, and will showcase talented emerging acts that have caught the eye of the singer-songwriter.
Sheern in a video message posted on his Label's YouTube channel said:
I’m extremely excited to be starting-up my own label. It’s something I’ve been planning for some time. I’ve always loved endorsing acts from the very beginning and I get to work with artists I truly believe in.
Sheeran's first signing is Jamie Lawson. Sheeran said about Lawson:
He’s an incredible talent, who I’ve known for a couple of years, and we’ve actually been on tour this year across Australia and the UK/Europe. Jamie’s self-titled album is coming on October 9 and I can’t wait for you to hear it.
Jamie Lawson has already released three albums online, while his song 'Wasn't Expecting That' was a chart success in Australia and New Zealand.
The first official video from Gingerbread Man Records will be unveiled in the coming days on its official YouTube page.
