Simon Cowell might have plans for One Direction's Louis Tomlinson

Simon Cowell has revealed that One Direction's Louis Tomlinson has expressed an interest in joining him in the future on either "The X Factor" or "Britain's Got Talent" as a judge. 

n an interview with The Mirror's TV Mag, he explained that it's very possible one of the 1D member will join him in the future:

Going forward, one of these guys will do one of these shows [X Factor/Britain's Got Talent] with us. Louis in particular wants to and he'd be very good, but in terms of girls, it was really Rita that we wanted – and thank God we got her.

While there is no room left on this year's X Factor for Louis to join, there is still judges' houses, when each judge traditionally invites a famous friend to join them in deciding which acts to send through to the live shows and which to send home.

Speaking about the boyband's hiatus at the "X Facto" press launch, Cowell admitted that at the moment the break is temporary although that could definitely change as time moves on:

They haven't announced an official break-up because I don't think they're sure they know what they want to do. And after five years I know what their schedule was like. It was gruelling. They would have burnt themselves out.
