Watch Ryan Adams chats with Taylor Swift about "1989"

After releasing his full-album cover version of Taylor Swift's "1989" Ryan Adams, in conjuction with GQ's cover story, got the chance to interview Taylor Swift.

The pair sat down to chat about Siri, their sources of inspiration and different approaches to songwriting. 

Adams tells Swift, "Whenever I’m stuck when I’m writing, I could just put a Smiths record on, and it’s kind of like if my songwriting was an iPhone, it recharges it in like, five minutes.” Swift tells him that she looked to John Hughes movies for inspiration when writing "1989".
