David Gilmour drops new video for 'Faces of Stone' - WATCH

Ex Pink Floyd member David Gilmour released his new solo album - "Rattle That Lock" - in September. Being busy promoting it, he just dropped an official video for the tack "Faces of Stone".

Featuring black-and-white footage of Gilmour in a recording studio and scenes from an old, eerie film about a woman wandering about a beach, it’s a moving and emotional video, with great introspective qualities. In a statement posted on Facebook, Gilmour explained the song’s personal backstory:

Towards the end of my mother’s life, when she was suffering from dementia, there was a brief crossover period of about 9 months, when she was alive and my daughter was newly born: this song is a musing on that time. Specifically it refers to a walk in the park where my mother was ‘seeing’ pictures, or ‘faces of stone’, hanging in the trees.
