Jay-Z reckons Harry Styles can be the world's biggest artist

Jay-Z had said Harry Styles can be "the biggest artist in the world within a year".

In a recent interview with the Daily Star Sunday, the rapper and Roc Nation founder said: 

Harry doesn't need any help with exposure, everybody in the world knows who he is. But he does need to make the transition from being part of a group to becoming an individual artist.  can get him working with the bigger artists, the biggest producers – and have him as the biggest artist in the world within a year.

Jay-Z has previously mentored Rihanna, Kanye West and Rita Ora. He also said he’d be happy to work with Styles, he’s even willing to collaborate with Simon Cowell. The rapper added:

I would love to sign Harry. Simon is going to want to carry on working with him, of course. But we could do a joint venture – we both have big qualities we can bring to the table. And Harry can make more than enough money for everybody to get a piece of the pie.

This interview follow the news that Harry Styles has already written and registered with ASCAP (American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers) more than four tracks with Harry Styles listed as the only performer. Some titles of the tracks are “Already Home”, “Coco”, “Endlessly” and “5378 Miles”. Snow Patrol guitarist John McDaid and producer Gary Go are listed as co-writers.
Styles has previously worked on tracks with Kodaline, Meghan Trainor and Ariana Grande.
