One Direction's rep denies their 'hiatus' is a permanent split

Since One Direction announced their extended hiatus, rumours that the band have opted for a definitive break have been spread around but every time the boys and their reps denied them.

Today another split report surfaced on the web sending fans in delirium. Now everyone can relax because a source close to the band has confirmed that their hiatus is still temporary and they’ll be back again after their deserved break.

The source told Billboard:

Nothing has changed regarding hiatus plans for the group, and all will be revealed in due time from the band members' own mouths.

Anyway, Liam Payne seems to be the first one of the four guys to go on solo with rapper Juicy J, and Harry Styles recently registered eight tracks at ASCAP, also as performer, hinting that his first solo album could be on its way.

Former One Direction Zayn Malik has revealed more details about his own music about how he really feels about the band, saying he had "every intention" of staying friends with them but they've not called him back.
