Kurt Cobain: pictures of suicide gun posted online by Seattle Police Dept. - WATCH

The official site of the Seattle Police Department is now showing - for reasons still unknown, at the moment - some shots depicting the weapon with which the leader of Nirvana (Kurt Cobain) committed suicide in 1994. This is the first time, in over 20 years, that the weapon -a gun - is clearly shown (except for certain crime scene photos that reveal a partial view of the shotgun).

The pictures were taken recently, according to reports from CBS News, and show the cold case detective Michael Ciesynski (in the past he has reviewed Cobain's files) showing the gun.

The publication of these pictures, however, goes to pulverize some of theories that would take Cobain victim of a conspiracy and refuse to accept the death as a suicide; some were convinced that the weapon was destroyed after investigations, to remove any evidence of the murder.

 

Cobain was found dead at his home in Lake Washington (Seattle) on April 8, 1994. According to the results of the autopsy, he injected a heavy dose of heroin, then took his own life by shooting himself.
