David Bowie New York City memorial concert to be live streamed for charity

New York City is getting ready for a two farewell concerts for David Bowie. 

The first concert is going to take place tomorrow night (March 31) at Carnegie Hall. Due to popular demand, a second concert was announced for the following night (April 1), at Radio City Music Hall.

Miley Cyrus, Cat Power, Debbie Harry, Pixies, Michael Stipe, Cyndi Lauper, Perry Farrell and Laurie Anderson are among the 20 confirmed acts for the Carnegie Hall show.

Mumford & Sons will join the line-up at Radio City Music Hall, which will include many of the same acts that performed the night before.

 The Radio City Music Hall event will be streamed live worldwide in exchange for donations to charity, and the promoters have teamed up with Skype especially for the event. The minimum charitable donation is £15 ($20). All of the money donated will go to various music and art charities in the US.
