Chris Cornell covered "Stay With Me Baby" for "Vinyl" soundtrack - LISTEN

Soundgarden frontman and solo artist Chris Cornell recorded a cover of "Stay With Me Baby", the song originally sang in 1966 by Lorraine Ellison - but covered, over the years, by the likes of Bette Midler, Bob Dylan, Janis Joplin, Mary J. Blige, and even "American Idol"'s runner up La'Porsha Renae.

The track was recorded for the soundtrack of "Vinyl", the Martin Scorsese and Mick Jagger-produced rock ‘n’ roll drama is set in New York in the early ‘70s, revolving around label head Richie Finestra (Bobby Cannavale). 
On April 15 - moreover - of a new album gathering some of the best tunes used in the soundrack is out.
