Arctic Monkeys' "AM" goes 3x platinum in the UK
While Alex Turner is enjoying some time with his side project The Last Shadow Puppets, Arctic Monkeys' latest record "AM" has now gone three times platinum in the UK. ?The group released the album in 2013 and the BPI confirmed today (April 15) that it has now sold over 900,000 units to date.

The Last Shadow Puppets have also achieved a new certification. Their 2008 debut album 'The Age of the Understatement' is now platinum.

Gnarls Barkley's hit song 'Crazy' is now also two times platinum. This means it has shifted over 1.2 million units since its release in 2006. Calvin Harris' 2012 single 'Sweet Nothing' has been newly crowned platinum, as well as Disclosure featuring AlunaGeorge hit "White Noise".
