Sonic Youth: "Spinhead Sessions", collection of demos of 1986 for the film "Made in U.s.a"-look, cover, TRACKLIST

US noise rock icons Sonic Youth broke up, but draw profusely to their archivesto release new goodies. There's plenty of stuff, indeed - and on June 17 they'll release via Goofin ' an album called "Spinhead Sessions".

The disc is a collection of demo recordings that Thurston Moore & co. made in 1986 before finalizing the recordings of the soundtrack for the film "Made in U.S.A." by Ken Friedman (1987). These demos were made in a study called Spinhead - hence the title.
The official soundtrack signed by Sonic Youth, however, was released eight years after the film - but in "Spinhead Sessions" we'll find demos different from the actual soundtrack - which was published by Rhino in 1995.

This is the cover of the album coming in June:
