Sinead O'Connor is safe and sound: artist eventually located by the police

Sinead O'Connor's fans can breathe a sigh of relief: the Irish singer was located by Wilmette, Ill.  police officers who declared her  "safe and no longer in danger." Sinead was found in a hotel not too far from the place where she had disappeared and was immediately taken to a local hospital for checks.

Sinead O'Connor had been reported missing by a caller who told the local police the singer had been last seen at 6 a.m. yesterday, Sunday, May 15, after leaving her home off to a bike ride. Investigators feared she could have killed herself, especially after reading O'Connor's dramatic Facebook post addressed to her family.
