Pearl Jam joined by J Mascis for Neil Young cover - VIDEO

On August 7, during their set at Fenway Park in Boston, grunge giants Pearl Jam were joined onstage by a Massachusetts guitar hero: Dinosaur Jr.’s J Mascis. Together they covered Neil Young’s anthem “Rockin’ in the Free World” - a song Pearl Jam have performed many, many times (including their renditions with a newly reformed Sleater-Kinney and once with Arcade Fire’s Win Butler).

Pearl Jam is an American rock band, formed in Seattle, Washington, in 1990. Since its inception, the band's line-up has comprised Eddie Vedder (lead vocals), Mike McCready (lead guitar), Stone Gossard (rhythm guitar) and Jeff Ament (bass).
