Noel Gallagher reopens Manchester Arena with tears and a benefit concert... but Liam isn’t buying it

Ex Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher headlined a special concert (which took place on Saturday, September 9) to reopen the Manchester Arena after the tragic terror attack last May.

During his performance of “Don’t Look Back in Anger” - a song that became an anthem surrounding the tragedy - Noel appeared to wipe tears from his eyes (check the video below).

As you could expect, his brother Liam Gallagher had something to say about the performance. Indeed he tweeted:

NG broke down in tears cmon you seriously ain't buying that he doesn’t give a fuck.

And he added:

Don't buy into his PR stunt he doesn't give a fuck if the same thing had have gone of in Edinburgh he'd been up there like a shot ahem.

This was Noel's setlist for the night:

Everybody’s on the Run
Lock All the Doors
Half the World Away (Oasis cover)
In the Heat of the Moment
Champagne Supernova (Oasis cover)
Little by Little (Oasis cover)
Wonderwall (Oasis cover)
Don’t Look Back in Anger (Oasis cover)
