Facebook's global music team grows, with another senior Warner exec

Facebook's music licensing team is growing. The latest addition is a senior Warner Music Group, according to "Music Business Worldwide": Perry Bashkoff.

He is SVP, Global Content & Revenue Development at WMG in New York and he has worked for the major for over 15 years. He will, reportedly, join Facebook in 2018.

At Warner, Bashkoff is in charge of the major’s content strategy – generating new IP through original programming, while developing short and long-form content based around artist storytelling. His work is done interacting closely with brands in industries such as fashion, food, sports, and more.
