Jack White shared another track from his upcoming new album "Boarding House Reach".
It's a song called “Over and Over and Over” and, according to the singer-songwriter, it dates back 13 years: it was, indeed, written for The White Stripes.
White said that after scrapping the song from The White Stripes repertoire, he recorded it with The Raconuters - but he didn’t like that version either. So he set it aside for the now infamous JAY-Z collaborative project that never came to be:
I was just gonna hand it off to my grandchildren. It was sort of my white whale. I chased it and chased it, and finally, all of a sudden, it worked.
