Roger Waters share new song "Supremacy" - VIDEO

Ex Pink Floyd bassist Roger Waters just dropped a new track - with an accompanying video - called "Supremacy".

The song was recorded with Palestinian group Trio Joubran as a backing band, while Waters recites reciting “Rhe Penultimate speech of the ‘Red Indian’ to the white man,” a poem by Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish.

"Supremacy" was conceived in response to Trump’s December decision to formally recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, upending decades of American foreign policy with plans to move the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to the newly proclaimed capital.

Waters explained in an official statement:

On the surface, [the poem] narrates the last speech of the Native American to the white man, but it speaks also to Darwish's beloved Palestine and its indigenous people.
