Neil Young and Crazy Horse announce first gigs in 4 years

Great news: Canadian singer-songwriter Neil Young announced his first performances with his legendary backing band Crazy Horse since 2014.

Young posted on his website a message saying:

First time in a long time, live on stage. No rehearsal.

The performances will take place on May 1 and May 2 at Warnors Theatre in Fresno, California.

The band’s lineup will feature bassist Billy Talbot, drummer Ralph Molina, and guitarist Nils Lofgren. Jonathan Richman will be opening these shows.

Young also added:

Life is an unfolding saga. A few months ago we started talking about playing some remote clubs and getting our feet wet again. Come and see us if you can as we approach our 50th year as a band. I think it will be the beginning of another beautiful chapter in our long, enriching and life changing Crazy Horse story.
