Apple’s services revenue reach quarterly high of $10bn

Apple just announced an impressive set of quarterly financial results. Indeed, the comany's revenues were up 20% year-on-year to $62.9bn, and its net profit for the quarter was $14.1bn, up from $10.7bn a year ago.

Apple sold 46.9m iPhones, 9.7m iPads and 5.3m Macs during the third quarter. But ta very interesting thing is the continued growth in Apple’s "services" revenues: a segment including Apple Music, but also apps and other digital content (AppleCare support, Apple Pay transaction revenues..).

Services revenue in Q3 was just under $10bn, up 17% year-on-year.
