Festicket's Series D funding round raises $10.5m

Festicket, the festival ticketing and travel platform, just raised $10.5m in its Series D funding round - led by VC firm Beringea, with InMotion Ventures (the VC fund of Jaguar Land Rover), Channel 4’s Commercial Growth Fund and Eelko Van Kooten, the former CEO of dance-music firm Spinnin’ Records, among the investors.

The funding is for a company that has sold tickets and travel packages for more than 1,200 music festivals to more than two million fans so far. The round takes Festicket’s total funding so far to $24.2m. Expansion to North America and Asia is on its agenda now.
