Poor, Poor Pharaoh / Song of the King (Medley)

Guess what, in his bed, Pharaoh had an uneasy night.
He had had a dream that pinned him to his sheets with fright.
No one knew the meaning of the dream.
What to do? Whatever could it mean?
Then his butler said, "I know a bloke in jail, who is hot on dreams, could explain all pharaoh's tale,"
Pharaoh said, "Well fetch this Joseph man,"
I need him to help me if he can.

Poor, poor Pharaoh, watcha gonna do? Dreams are haunting you, hey watcha gonna do?

Chained and bound and cried alone, Joseph knelt before the throne.
"My service to Pharaoh has begun. Tell me your problems, Mighty One."

Well I was wandering along by the banks of the river when seven fat cows came out of the Nile, Uh-huh-huh.
(Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

And right behind these fine, healthy animals, were seven other cows, all skinny and vile, Oh-oh yeah.
(Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

Well, the thin cows ate the fat cows which I thought would do them good, Uh-huh-huh.
(Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

But it didn't make them fatter like such a monster supper should.
(Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

Because the thin cows were as thin as they could have ever ever been.
Now this dream has got me baffled, Joseph won't you tell me what it means.

C'mon you know that kings ain't stupid. (Stupid!)
But I don't have a clue. (Clue!)
Now, don't be cruel, Joseph. (Joseph!)
Help me I beg of you!

I was standing doing nothing in a field out of town when I saw seven beautiful ears of corn, Uh-huh-huh
(Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

They was ripe and they was golden but, you guessed it, right behind me was seven other ears, all tattered and torn, Oh-oh yeah.
(Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

Well the bad corn ate the good corn and they up right behind, yes they did! (Bop-shoo-wa-da-wa-bop-bop-shoo-wa-da-wa)

Oh but Joseph, here's the punch line, I think gonna really blow your mind.
Because the bad ones were as bad as they had ever, ever been!
This dream has got me all sup, so please be nice and tell me what it means.

Hey, hey, hey, Joseph,
(bop-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop-bop)
Won't you tell old Pharaoh, baby? What does this crazy, crazy, crazy dream mean? Oh yeah.

The End.
