Begin Again (Commentary)
We're taking a look back
At Taylor Swift's album, "Red"
Which is celebrating it's sixth anniversary
And I remember, quote, that Taylor once told me
To describe herself as "someplace between
Sprinkles and ponies
And being dark and twisty and complicated"
And rather that try to balance or hide
Any of those sides, Taylor put them all
Into the songs on her album
And she gave people the full spectrum
Of her emotions and her mental state on "Red"
I mean you feel differently every day
You're never the same exact person
Two days in a row
I mean, it's like you've got so many different
Things that make up someone's personality
And that make up a particular emotion
And with my songs, I just try to capture
A tiny glimpse of one nuance of an emotion
And that can usually be stretched out
Into three and a half minutes
I think if we are looking at all the different sides
Of Taylor, this next song represents
Her sweet, vulnerable side, and her willingness
To give the possibity of love another chance
It's "Begin Again" off of "Red"
